Division Overview
Hubbell Power Systems (HPS) engages in the design and manufacture of a wide variety of products used by utilities. 

Position Overview

We have an immediate opportunity for a Materials Planning Analyst for our Centralia, MO location.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Analyze, consolidate, and interpret materials data.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for management.
  • Work with material planning staff to resolve issues, update material schedules and ensure supporting MRP systems reflect forecast and demand for products.
  • Provide direction and guidance to production planning team.
  • Develop and distribute daily reports for Operations, Planning, and Leadership to drive necessary actions.
  • Partner with all departments as needed, including Sales, Customer Service, Engineering, and Operations.

Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, statics, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to assess, transform, and work with quantitative data from a range of sources.
  • Strong quantitative aptitude, desire to learn new skills, and ability to interpret complex analytic information.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to problem-solve, trouble shoot, audit data, data mine and summarize data as requested.
  • Advanced skill with MS Office software with emphasis on Excel including Visual Basic, Access, and Power BI.
  • ERP/MRP experience required, SAP experience preferred.
  • Ability to travel on business related trips as needed.
