Are you passionate about driving quality excellence and making an impact in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment? Hubbell is looking for a Sr. Associate, Quality Engineer to help elevate our Quality Assurance, Quality Systems, and Supplier Quality efforts.
The Senior Associate Quality Engineer provides Quality Assurance, Quality Systems, and Supplier Quality support for manufacturing locations. The Senior Associate Quality Engineer conducts internal quality controls to ensure established quality procedures and standards are followed. This role conducts routine quality analysis and tests/inspections of a quality control program, where duties and tasks are standardized. This role also monitors and records inconsistencies with quality procedures and standards. This individual prepares standard quality analyses and recommends necessary quality procedure changes. This role also records and analyzes customer claims
A Day In The Life
Every day at Hubbell is different and you’ll contribute in many ways. On any given day, you’ll make a difference by:
- Monitoring, auditing, and evaluating production processes.
- Creating and maintaining Quality Assurance programs throughout the production operations.
- Working on ISO Documentation and Revisions.
- Managing Calibration Systems, Tooling, and Instrumentation.
- Leading and participating in problem solving and troubleshooting activity for electro-mechanical and mechanical devices.
- Leading and participating in the internal audit program.
- Supporting new product development activity including PFMEA, DFMEA, Quality Planning, Measurement Systems design and deployment.
- Identifying and addressing issues regarding control of nonconforming material.
What will help you thrive in this role?
- Bachelor’s Degree in Quality, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (required)
- 1-2 years of Quality Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment (required)
- Ability to perform Capability and Measurement Systems Analysis
- Proven skills in problem solving and product investigation
- Familiarity with statistical analysis and data analysis tools
- Experience writing and revising procedures, work instructions, forms, visual aids, etc.
- Experience working within an ISO 9001-2015 registered, or equivalently certified QMS (required)
