Position Overview

Receives product into the DC and provides support to management.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare shipment documentation for outbound material and verify appropriate signatures from carrier agents.
  • Schedule the pickup of completed trailers with various carriers.
  • Coordinate with the shift supervisor the priority of orders to pick as they are released to the floor
  • Maintain files and records of shipments.
  • Communicate with Load planners, other departments, carriers regarding shipments.
  • Investigate PPI’s and report the findings to supervisors as well as maintaining a database of results.
  • File and follow up on Freight Claims with carriers as necessary.
  • Various other assigned administrative duties
