Position Overview
A Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for facilitating all key HR functions and programs. First point of contact for all matters related to employment, compensation, benefits and employee relations.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare presentations, spreadsheets, and reports as needed.
- Schedule in-house and external meetings
- Update site specific policies as needed
- Execute all HR training assigned within HRIS
- Maintain door entry security system
- Assist with the entire recruiting and onboarding processes; interviews, tracks status of candidates and responds with follow up letters, orientation.
- Assist employees with system login
- Assists with the preparation of the performance review process.
- Assist in entering new hire, terminations, payroll duties, leave of absence etc. in HRIS and other vendors.
- Coordinate and plan for facility visitors, including food, assigning rooms, and other activities.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations and guidelines.
- Completes Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 files.
- Conducts audits of payroll, benefits or other HR programs and recommends corrective action.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Skills and Experience
- Minimum of three (3) year office experience as a supervisor, coordinator or equivalent
- Bilingual in Spanish required
- Must be punctual, reliable and have a good work ethic
- Must be able to work independently and foster teamwork with others
- Strong computer skills with preferred experience in MS Office Suite
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
