Job Overview

he Warehouse Cycle Counter is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and reconciliation using SAP. This role supports warehouse operations by identifying discrepancies, ensuring material availability, and assisting with inventory control processes. Work is performed both indoors and outdoors, requiring the operation of various equipment and adherence to safety and quality standards.

A Day In The Life

  • Perform scheduled and ad-hoc cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies using SAP and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Operate material handling equipment including stand-up and sit-down forklifts, Bobcat, and Wave Picker.
  • Document and report findings from cycle counts to warehouse leadership.
  • Assist with inventory adjustments and reconciliation in SAP.
  • Support shipping, receiving, and material movement activities as needed.
  • Maintain organized and clean inventory areas in accordance with 6S and safety standards.
  • Communicate effectively with warehouse, production, and quality teams to ensure inventory integrity.

What will help you thrive in this role?

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1+ years of experience in warehouse, inventory control, or manufacturing preferred.
  • Proficiency in SAP ERP system and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
  • Previous forklift experience [stand-up and sit-down] preferred, training available.
  • Ability to operate Bobcat and Wave Picker equipment.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. regularly.
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
  • Work performed both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Exposure to warehouse noise, dust, and moving equipment.
  • Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required.
  • Fast-paced environment with time-sensitive tasks.
