Job Overview
The Product Engineer provides Platform Engineering support necessary to maintain production and performance of products manufactured. The role aids in the minimization of scrap, the prevention of production holds, the avoidance of recalls, and the implementation of corrective actions and compliance with ISO 9002.
A Day In The Life
Every day at Hubbell is different and you’ll contribute in many ways. On any given day, you’ll make a difference by:
- Providing sound and timely analysis of manufacturing problems.
- Participating with Quality in the resolution of UL variation notices.
- Participating with Quality in maintaining CSA Category Certification.
- Participating in the Material Review Board function for both manufacturing locations.
- Generating Design Change Requests (DCRs) for the factory locations.
- Reviewing Engineering Changes (ECs) for the factory locations.
- Assisting in the implementation of Documentation Change Notices (DCNs) for the factory locations.
- Assisting Design Engineering in the introduction of new products.
- Participating in ISO Auditing.
- Maintaining a current knowledge of UL, Fed. Spec., CSA and other standards requirements applicable to Hubbell products manufactured.

BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering (required)
3-5 years of experience in the design or manufacture of electromechanical products (required)
