Job Overview
The Warehouse Associate III – Inventory is responsible for performing all tasks in the safest way possible. In this role, you will be required to perform trouble shooting, researching, and correcting of inventory issues across the warehouse. This role will be a critical part of maintaining and improving facility inventory accuracy by identifying root cause of issue, providing recommendations for improvement, and assisting in implementation of the improvement.
A Day In The Life
Follow all safety, company, and 6S standards in the distribution center to ensure a clean and safe working environment to ensure the safety and security of all employees.
Operate warehouse equipment, dock safety, and order convenience equipment safely and efficiently to ensure little to no accidents.
Determine inventory quantity discrepancies and correct and provide recommendations to management for improvement.
Perform bin audits based on potential inventory issues. Example: Missing product during pick, mis-shipment sent to customer, etc.
Responsible for processing all material which is delivered to the inventory issue area (hospital)
Correct deviations to item master data in SAP. Example: Incorrect inventory, inaccurate dimensions, missing barcode info, etc.
Executing scrap ticket requests.
Perform miscellaneous activities as directed by your manager to efficiently support the warehouse operation.
What will help you thrive in this role?
Deep knowledge of all primary roles in a distribution environment (Pick, Pack, Put away, and Replenishment)
Four (4) years’ experience in a high-volume warehouse environment required.
Two (2) years’ experience in an inventory control position.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
Excellent math and analytical skills, including decimals.
Ability to perform job tasks with high degree of accuracy and minimal error
