Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and strategic SIOP Planner to join our team, focusing on a single business unit. The SIOP Planner will be instrumental in driving the Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) process, ensuring optimal balance between demand and supply, and aligning inventory with customer service levels and profitability goals. This role requires a strong analytical mindset and excellent collaboration skills to work effectively across various departments.
A Day In The Life
- Lead the SIOP process for the designated business unit, facilitating monthly meetings to review forecasts, inventory levels, supply constraints, and action plans.
- Collaborate with demand planning, supply chain, sales, and finance teams to gather inputs for the SIOP process and ensure alignment of operational plans with financial goals.
- Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts, incorporating market trends, historical data, and sales inputs.
- Analyze supply and demand issues and facilitate resolution through coordination with relevant stakeholders.
- Monitor inventory levels and plan necessary adjustments to meet production schedules and customer requirements while maintaining optimal inventory turns.
- Prepare and present detailed reports and analysis to senior management, highlighting risks, opportunities, and the impact of changes in demand and supply.
- Drive continuous improvement in the SIOP process through the implementation of best practices and innovative solutions.
- Maintain the business unit’s master data harmonization dashboard and communication.
- Work closely with the production and procurement teams to ensure that the production schedules align with customer demands and inventory strategies.
- Manage the development and revision of operational and tactical plans that meet business needs and objectives.
- Participate in cross-functional projects to support new product launches, market expansions, and other strategic initiatives.

- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain management, with a strong focus on SIOP, demand planning, or inventory management.
- Proven experience in managing SIOP processes within a specific business unit or product line.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex data and provide actionable insights.
- Proficient in ERP systems and planning software, along with MS Excel and other analytical tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
