Position Overview

This a product specialist position is responsible to support and lead OEM customers for ACME transformers. Position will build and maintain confirmed working relationship with OEM customers, providing details for orders to include pricing, ship date, tracking, etc., keeping detailed records for each customer, and work closely with the sales and product management team to provide outstanding service to customer.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide support to OEM customer for quotations, orders, and other product/order related questions.
  • Conduct weekly meetings with customers to discuss on time delivery, shipping status, quality issues, and product revision requests.
  • Process orders into system and keep detailed records for each customer.
  • Attend sales and operation meetings to resolve how to improve delivery time.
  • Work with production scheduling per customer to required ship dates.
  • Support and advise different warehouses to ship and expedite shipments.
  • Review orders per customer daily to drop orders and inquire about late orders.
  • Work closely with product manager in supporting revisions for product.
  • Build forecast for key customers and provide info to purchasing/production to process.
  • Connect with purchasing to assure drop ship orders are processed and work with vendor to expedite when needed.
  • Support sales and brand managers in assuring stocking levels and safety stock.

Skills and Experience

  • 2 year degree and 5-7 years of customer service experience
  • SAP experience required.
  • Proven account management or other meaningful experience desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively.
  • Proven track record to manage multiple accounts at a time while paying strict attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize amount competing tasks.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Professional at Microsoft Office Suite - especially Excel.
  • The ability to work with little to no supervision in delivering high quality work and capable of collaboration with cross-functional teams as needed.
