Plant Manager

Job Overview

Direct and coordinate all efforts within the plant to achieve the prescribed production goals, maintain quality and minimize operating expenses.

A Day In The Life

Enforce and foster safety culture across the operation for a safe working environment under OSHA and STPS compliance.

Comply and abide with corporate guidelines and polices as well as Mexican laws and regulations.

Coordination and communication with support services to grant operational continuity with enterprise compliant and efficient processes.

Drive a Hubbell Lean culture and concepts for a continuous improvement environment. Mitigate and eliminate all waste related activities.

Coordinate production levels with production planning department to pursue excellence in on time delivery to external customer and intercompany.

Organize each production department with proper manpower to meet operational requirements.

Coordinate all efforts with maintenance departments to have al equipment, tools and fixtures available as needed.

Verify and monitor stock levels to meet safety stock requirements for make to order items. Set priority jobs as per production schedule requirements.

Maintain close contact with quality control department to assure quality products.

Meet and support ISO requirements in addition to compliance to customer quality requirements and product design.

Maintain close control of operating budget and stay well wihtin operating costs.

Work with Process, Product and Materials Departments to improve productivity.

Inventory management to meet goals and objectives.

Lead, coordinate, organize, train, develop, supervise, coach and discipline plan management staff.

Perform administrative duties concerning company polices, rules, union agreements and safety rules.
