Division Overview
Hubbell Commercial & Industrial (HCI) provides solutions for a broad range of non-residential and residential construction, commercial and industrial applications along with high-voltage test and measurement solutions. As a leading global manufacturer and supplier in multiple markets, we have quality products that serve the commercial construction, datacom, industrial light, industrial heavy, high voltage, residential and oil & gas markets. Position Overview

HR Manager is a critical member of both the business and corporate human resources teams and responsible for understanding both business drivers and human resource capabilities in order to help drive business growth. The HR Manager will be considered a trusted advisor to the business in relation to all areas of human resources in support of facility. The HR Manager will lead a team and will partner with other HR specialist teams to achieve success in the HR lifecycle to achieve organizational growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provides resources, feedback, direction and motivation to HR staff to achieve goals and results
  • expected by the organization.
  • It ensures that the organization has the culture and talent to meet the needs of the operation.
  • Design and Administration of salary and compensation programs, and staffing services
  • Directs Recruitment, Selection and Recruitment Policies.
  • Conducting interviews and hiring staff for all admin and hourly positions
  • Designs and Manages Motivational and Incentive Programs.
  • Utilizing benchmarking data to review wage competitiveness for retention and attraction of talent
  • Directs Programs, Processes and Policies of Staff Training and Development.
  • Directs Programs, Processes and Policies of Labor Administration to comply with the LFT, LSS and Mexican Migratory Law.

  • Tabulato and Collective Labor Contract negotiations with the Union.
  • Represents the company legally before Government Agencies and Corresponding Audits.
  • Human Resources Metrics Review : Development, Training, Absenteeism, Turnover, Training, and Headcount
  • Meet internal and corporative control requirements.
  • Meet ISO 9001 standards
  • Meet EHS standards
  • Providing Plant leader and BU leaders with HR dashboard reports
  • Directs and designs workplace and satisfaction customer surveys to drive employee engagement and satisfaction
  • Participate in the company's internal and external events
  • Support the Operations Manager in everything related to Human Resources and Heritage Security
  • Drive talent management activities including succession planning and annual performance review process.
    Conducts employee relations activities by working with management and corporate compliance teams to resolve workplace conflict and/or code of conduct violations, to establish and maintain an inclusive and ethical organization.
    Is comfortable using data and analytics; uses a metrics-based approach to business decisions.
    Demonstrates the ability to actively listen to employees at all levels in the organization.
    Maintains strict confidentiality of all employee and organizational data; driven by integrity.

Education and Experience:

  • 5-8 years of overall progressive human resources experience
  • Desirable Master's (Admon, RH, Labor, Afin)
  • Professional level : LAE,LRI, Afin (4 years)
  • Fluid English 85% (written and spoken)
  • +4 years at the management level in the RH/manufacturing-maquila-preferred
  • Excel mastery and computer packages
  • Systems – Thress, SAP, Success Factors.
  • Domain of LFT, LSS, STPS Mid-level knowledge of Regulations USA, and NOM's EHS
