Job Overview

Represent and accompany the company's senior management with the purpose of establishing, documenting and maintaining the quality management system, as well as continuously improving its effectiveness in accordance with regulatory requirements. This involves operational execution and control of all actions necessary to achieve this mission. Team building skills are a must that include mentoring and strengthening teams.
This role will be responsible for managing the overall Quality Management System for the Monterrey, MX facility.

A Day In The Life

Every day at Hubbell is different and you’ll contribute in many ways. On any given day, you’ll make a difference by: 

•    Maintain the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System
•    Facilitate annual surveillance audits, as well as customer quality audits
•    Maintain and ensure organizational processes and procedures are accurate
•    Conduct both internal and external supplier audits
•    Coordinate Quality Control inspections
•    Conduct project FMEAs and interface with customers regarding warranty claims
•    Frequently interact with customers, suppliers and company associates
•    Cross train team members to back-fill the Quality Dept members as needed. 
•    Collect quality data and provide analysis.

What will help you thrive in this role?

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, Quality Assurance, or a related field
  • Relevant quality certification preferred
  • 6-10 years of relevant experience (required)
  • 6+ years of leadership experience (required)
  • Experience in leading audits
  • Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and presentation
  • Ability to implement statistical tools
  • Ability to travel periodically on business-related trips.
  • Ability to write clear work instructions and supporting QMS documents in English and Spanish.
  • Must be able to interpret blueprints, engineering sketches, and technical documents to resolve appropriate measurement methods.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word. PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Clear communication (oral and written) skills.
  • Ability to keep accurate records.
  • A person committed to striving for lean manufacturing processes and/or six sigma initiatives.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team environment.
