We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead manufacturing operations at our Aiken, SC facility. This role is responsible for operational performance across Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost, as well as personnel development, production planning, and continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, a disciplined approach to manufacturing processes, and a commitment to operational excellence.

A Day In The Life

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead daily manufacturing operations to achieve production schedules, quality standards, and on‑time delivery objectives.
  • Ensure a safe, compliant work environment aligned with OSHA, state, and local regulations.
  • Establish, monitor, and improve KPIs for Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC).
  • Drive Lean Manufacturing initiatives, including 5S, waste elimination, standardized work, and continuous improvement activities.
  • Maintain and enhance quality systems that support product conformance and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and manage operational budgets, forecasts, staffing plans, and resource allocation.
  • Approve expenditures and ensure efficient use of labor, materials, and equipment.
  • Lead, coach, and develop production supervisors and frontline teams to promote engagement, accountability, and high performance.
  • Create a culture focused on quality, customer service, and continuous improvement.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles (5S, waste elimination, process improvement).
  • Demonstrated results in leading teams and improving operations in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and training skills.
  • Skilled in problem solving, facilitation, and root cause analysis.
  • Proven ability to engage, develop, and motivate teams at all levels.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field.
