A Day In The Life
- Operates mold machine processes to produce quality parts at the required productivity rate, in accordance with customer specifications and Hubbell Power Systems Quality Operating Principles.
- Produce quality molded parts using various molding process systems
- Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs and adjustments to molding equipment
- Perform 100% trim and inspection; identify and segregate scrap
- Complete daily paperwork including Hour-by-Hour charts, part counting, and packaging
- Maintain safety, quality, production, and 5S housekeeping standards

- Basic math and computer skills
- Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to use hand tools
- Good communication, reading, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and with others
- Willingness to support other departments as needed
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds
- Frequent carrying of items up to 44 pounds
- Constant walking and standing
- Reaching, pulling, bending, twisting, and climbing
- Gripping/handling up to 5 lbs frequently
- Must be able to distinguish colors and shades, and have depth perception - Heavy lifting (>45 lbs) up to 25% of the time
- Light carrying (<15 lbs) up to 75% of the time
- Straight pulling, pulling hand over head
- Balancing, crawling, kneeling, stooping/bending, twisting
- Sitting (intermittent/constant)
- Climbing (both legs required)
