A Day In The Life
Every day at Hubbell is different and you’ll contribute in many ways. On any given day, you’ll make a difference by:
- Identifying and appraising risk conditions which could produce occupational injuries or illnesses.
- Evaluating potential extent of injuries resulting from accidents and classifying particular workstations.
- Compiling, analyzing, and interpreting statistical data related to exposure factors concerning occupational illnesses and accidents.
- Investigating occupational accidents and analyzing their causes to prevent them.
- Co-operating with employees’ council or labor union in the field of occupational health and safety.
- Ensuring training for employees entering work areas of the organization.
What will help you thrive in this role?
- Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Services, Public Health, Occupational Safety, or a related field.
- Current and active relevant certifications (required)
- 10+ years of relevant experience (required)
- 10-15 years of leadership experience preferred.
- Deep understanding of legal health and safety guidelines.
- Keen ability in producing reports and developing policies.
- Good knowledge of data analysis and risk assessment.
- Proficiency in relevant systems and software.
