Job Overview

Bajo la supervisión o persona designada, coordina y realiza trabajos de imprenta para darle apoyo a las áreas de manufactura y las áreas de servicio. Esta posición apoya a múltiples departamentos en la asistencia a las plantas de producción de manera necesaria para maximizar la velocidad y la producción.

A Day In The Life

  • Responsable por utilizar y cuidar el equipo de protección personal y/o artefactos de seguridad instalados en maquinaria manual y/o semiautomática, según indicado por Seguridad Ocupacional. 
  • Notifica al Supervisor o persona designada sobre todo equipo averiado y cualquier situación que pueda representar en el área de trabajo .  
  • Responsable por la calidad de su trabajo.  Mientras realiza su trabajo debe inspeccionar que esté conforme a los requisitos de calidad establecidos. 
  • Responsable de cumplir a tiempo con la cantidad de trabajo requerido de acuerdo con la orden de trabajo (“Job Order”). 
  • Notifica al Supervisor o persona designada sobre problemas con el material, equipo, maquinaria o herramientas que estén afectando o puedan afectar adversamente la calidad y cantidad del trabajo. 
  • Las ordenes de trabajos (“Job Orders”) son recibidas, analizadas, impresas y reportadas en producción (SAP) en coordinación con el Supervisor.
  • Realiza terminaciones tales como: numerar, pegar, cortar, compaginar, grapar, etc.
  • Mantener Registros de planos, arte y data “back-up” actualizados de acuerdo con las revisiones estipuladas por Ingeniería y Diseño de Manufactura.
  • Mientras ayuda en la ejecución de los trabajos, debe de inspeccionar de forma aleatoria toda producción, captando cualquier imperfección y/o defectos.
  • Responsable que todos los materiales y equipos necesarios estén configurados para ejecutar el trabajo antes de comenzar operaciones.
  • Realiza otras tareas relacionadas dentro del área de trabajo, según instrucciones del Supervisor o persona designada.

What will help you thrive in this role?

  • Cuarto año de Escuela Superior. 
  • Saber leer, escribir y seguir instrucciones. 
  • Conocimiento básico en Sistema de “Windows”  (“Excel”, “Word”, Power Point”, “PDF”, “Outlook”).
  • Dos (2) a tres (3) años de experiencia en operación de maquinaria en taller de imprenta.
  • Requiere estar de pie por periodos prolongados de tiempo, acarreo de material, agacharse, agarrar, sentarse, levantar hasta un máximo de 35 libras.
