Position Overview

PRIMARY PURPOSE: In this position, you will aid in the analysis and consolidation of financial reporting, monthly forecasts, and yearly budgets. You will also handle developing, implementing, and analyzing financial reports/models that aid in the decision making of the company. This high-profile role will also provide strategic financial planning and analysis activities, support the Annual Operating Plan, and provide timely and accurate reporting of business units.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Analysis, consolidation, and upload of financial data for actuals, forecasts, and budgets
• Develop financial reports and models using SAP, Hyperion, OneStream, and Excel
• Month end responsibilities include validation and consolidation of actual results, completing and distributing financial reports, and analyzing financial data
• Act as a liaison between Business Unit Controllers and other staff to resolve issues, compile data, and answer questions
• Use financial systems to extract and validate data throughout the segment entity reporting structure
• Perform critical data reconciliation and support to financial system enhancements
• Lead the creation of Monthly Operating Review presentations for senior management, using Think-cell graphing and visualization technology
• Active analysis of sales and operating costs, identifying key drivers, metrics, and variations
• Other ad hoc requests/special projects consistent with HPS and company objectives

Skills and Experience

Skills and Experience

• BS Degree in Accounting or Finance
• 2-4 years accounting and/or finance experience
• Proficient in MS Office – Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• SAP, Hyperion, and / or OneStream experience a big plus
• MBA or CPA is a plus, but not required
