Job Overview
Provide technical excellence in developing firmware associated with high volume electronic products within the AMI industry. Contribute to the development of documentation and firmware deliverables from concept to production launch.
A Day In The Life
The intern will be responsible for the creation of automate unit test scripts, written in Python, to test Aclara's AMI devices. Will also use Microsoft ADO and Git source control to support the development of the test scripts. The deliverable for this project will be a suite of functional test scripts that will that will be executed prior to Functional Verification Testing (FVT).
What will help you thrive in this role?
Must be at least a sophomore at the time of internship
Must be pursuing a BSEE, BSCE or BSCS
Python or C or C++ experience
Automation experience
Unit test experience with Cmake, CPPtest or Google test
Azure Dev Ops experience with Pipelines and Repositories
Hardware interface experience including communicating and controlling remote test equipment,
Labview or scripting experience (PowerShell or batch files)
Competent user of Visio or other flowcharting tools
Ability to work independently and at the direction of others
Good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to function in collaborative environment
