Division Overview

Hubbell Power Systems (HPS) engages in the design and manufacture of a wide variety of products used by utilities. Day Shift - 4-day rotations (4 days on/4 days off) 7:00 am - 7:00 pm

Night Shift - 4-day rotations (4 days on/4 days off) 7:00 pm - 7:00 am

Monday - Friday shift 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm

$22.56 per hour and $23.12 per hour at 90 days employment

$1.50 extra per hour for night shift

$1,000.00 retention bonus at 100 days employment

Position Overview

Responsible for performing machine set up and routine maintenance on injection molding equipment

MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Prepares and set up injection molding machines for scheduled production runs
Examines machines to diagnose and troubleshoot, replaces defective parts
Repairs machines, equipment, or structures
Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance service
Comply with OSHA Health and Safety guidelines
Recognize and report any safety issues
Assist maintenance Mechanic A personnel

Duties and Responsibilities

Maintain fluid collection or distribution

Performs preventive maintenance on machines
Operate all associated equipment of the production process
Maintain clean and organized work area
Keep molds and injection machines clean
Continually seek to improve work processes and individual performance
Accomplish other job related functions as assigned to include assisting Process Technicians or Molding Supervisors
Be able to work at heights up to approximately 50 feet

Skills and Experience

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Ability to: Reading and interpreting blueprints

Experience: Must have 3-5 years or more experience in industrial maintenance, hydraulics, welding, electrical or electro-mechanical. Emphasis will be placed on industrial maintenance mechanics experience.

High School Diploma
