Are you ready to dive deep into the world of customer analytics and drive strategic decisions at Hubbell? We are looking for a dynamic Business Analyst to join our Revenue Operations team and play a pivotal role in understanding and enhancing our customer relationships.

The Business Analyst - Customer Analytics, Research and Insights reports to Manager - Customer Analytics, Research and Insights, in Hubbell Revenue Operations. The Business Analyst is a key contributor to Hubbell Enterprise will help Hubbell to understand customer base; customer journey mapping, measures and metrics to learn satisfaction and lifetime value tracking of strategic customers and partners to Hubbell. The BA will lead detailed analytics leveraging tools such as Qualtrics, PowerBI, Survey Engines and other impactful analytical insights tools. The BA leverages data and analytics to inform on customer health, conduct customer end-market analyses, primary research, journey mapping and analyses and spearheads Revenue Operations viewpoint on trends and strategic planning. The BA presents data in a consolidated fashion to leaders and makes recommendations to help develop down line strategies and analytics. The BA will develop presentations for Hubbell Leadership understanding and decision making. The BA conducts qualitative studies - i.e., focus groups, customer panels, etc. The analysis is used to understand customer preferences, demographics, segmentation, decision making processes, customer journey and loyalty. The analysis may be used for Hubbell business planning and analysis. This position can be located in Avon, CT or Greenville, SC.

A Day In The Life

 

  • Develop and execute all phases of customer journey mapping, persona development and behavior analytics
  • Lead research and qualitative studies
  • Develop macro trends of customers, by markets, sectors and align this with Hubbell key go-to-market channels - i.e., distributors, utilities, end users, contractors, EPCs, etc. 
  • Collect and analyze data on customers for ongoing transactional viewpoint on experience, identifying trends and opportunities, as well as risks
  • Ability to support organic and inorganic initiatives
  • Succinctly and effectively consolidate findings for presentation to senior management 
  • Make recommendations and partner with business leaders on key strategies based on data analysis
  • Develop data models leveraging analytical tools
  • Advance insights and tool use 

 

What will help you thrive in this role?

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Digital Marketing Analytics, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a related analytics role; recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Proficiency in analytical tools such as PowerBI and Qualtrics.
  • Strong understanding of NPS, VOC, and other customer insight methodologies.
  • Experience in marketing analytics, sales analytics, AI, and CX analytics is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in environments characterized by agility and ambiguity.
  • Proven track record as a self-starter who can work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of effectively presenting data insights and influencing decision making.
