Systems Control is looking for a Protection & Controls Design Drafter to become a part of our Integrated Substation Solutions team. As a member of our Engineering Services Team, you will help create drawing packages for our utility customers. As a P&C Designer I, you will apply your technical and functional knowledge in the creation of drawings such as wiring diagrams, and cable schedules. You will also support drafting tasks during peak load times.

A Day In The Life
- Yellow-line wiring diagrams to match schematics and front view layouts to ensure drawing quality
- Create basic to intermediate point-to-point panel wiring diagrams from given schematics and front views
- Create cable lists and connection drawings for field equipment from given schematics
- Revise existing customer wiring diagrams for retrofit of new equipment
- Create demolition drawings
- Manage status of project completion (% complete) and update associated documents
- Produce and maintain high quality drawings, exhibiting strict attention to detail
- Calculate voltage drop with associated cables/wires
- Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with other OEC firms and clients associated with on-going projects
- Assist with drafting support during peak load times

- Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent
- Direct technical experience in a similar field/position
