Job Overview
Move, organize, verify and consolidate all incoming and internal material in an efficient and safe manner
A Day In The Life
- Unload Material from delivery vehicle manually or w/lift truck
- Inspect trailers & logs FAST related information
- Verify goods & quantities against manifest, packing list or SAP
- Log receiving discrepancies using the receiving discrepancy process
- Separate, tag, process and/or locate products requiring QC inspection of VA value add. As required complete NCMR, locate RF and move product to QUAR
- Check PO's on non production & special product supplies
- Deliver copies of PO's to designated personnel & photocopy orders when needed
- Maintain files of intercompany packing slips
- Inform designated personnel when goods received w/out documentation
- Deliver mail & packages received in warehouse to designated areas
- Move received goods to appropriate areas
- Knowledge of SAP functionality related to receiving, put away & consolidation
- Knowledge of various rack locations, including Cantilever, RMA & production area for picking locations
- Knowledge of what special stock is & how to correctly read & identify special stock
- Count, weigh & disperse material for work orders or movement of material
- Label, pack, mark or wrap materials prior to being located
- Consolidate storage areas
- Record material movement of receipts, put away & consolidation using RF/PC
- Other duties as assigned

- Ability to use scales, baler, RF, PC, stretch wrap machine, calculator, photocopier, cable cutting machine, pump truck & ladder. Other tools & equipment related to this function
- Ability to interpret & follow verbal & written instructions
- Work well w/others
- Organized w/good housekeeping skills
- Basic mathematics
- Valid equipment operating licenses will be required for Drexel, Tow Motors & Man-up Order Picker or any additional equipment purchased by Hubbell
- Ability to report information accurately

- Continuous walking or standing
- Minimum grade 12 education or equivalent
