Position Overview

Responsible within an assigned geographic territory, for the sales of business unit products and services. Development of strong relationships with channel partners, engineers, consultants, end users and contractors to secure loyalty and product preference for Hubbell products

Duties and Responsibilities
    1. Develop and Maintain Relationships - Develop strong channel relationships and deliver high service
    2. Grow Sales - Apply product features and benefits to provide value add solutions to customers; Support price realization in the marketplace; Understand market segments and verticals opportunities and penetrate them; Manage the sales cycle on projects; Execute promotional, training and new product initiatives; Collaborate with other Hubbell sales people in other Business Units to expand sales
    3. Be a Resource to our Customers - Learn the competitive advantages of our products and leverage; Understand the competitive strengths and weaknesses; Provide High Service and Fast response to customers; Plan initiatives with partners
    4. Respresent Hubbell Canada ULC professionally - Integrity and Ethics; Professional Image under all circumstances; Participate and/or lead in local industry associations, tradeshows and events
    5. Metrics and Reporting; Performance to quota planning and execution
Skills and Experience

Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university

One to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Proficient computer skills

Valid Driver’s license required

Education
Bachelors Degree in Business
