Division Overview
Hubbell Power Systems (HPS) engages in the design and manufacture of a wide variety of products used by utilities. Today, HPS is deeply engaged in product solutions for OSP Communication utility purposes, and has been actively growing that segment of the business. HPS roots have historically been in high voltage transmission, distribution, substation, underground products used by electric utilities. HPS products are also used in the civil construction, transportation, gas and water industries.

Position Overview

Perform physical counts of all products in the Oklahoma City manufacturing site as scheduled and other counts as necessary to maintain the accuracy of inventory records.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist management in other aspects of maintaining and improving quality metrics. This may include random outbound audits, empty bin verification, and assisting clerks with necessary inventory investigations. The “quality” focus of this position will continue to grow and may expand into other responsibilities as necessary.
  • Possess computer skills and demonstrate competence in executing SAP functionality and reports.
  • Responsible for, but not limited to, maintaining the count schedule as defined counting products within manufacturing or storage locations, and reporting the findings.
  • Offer suggestions on why on hand product balances do not match based on logical investigation of past transactions, practices, and observations.
  • Ability to operate a forklift truck, sit down forklift and other MHE within the facility.
  • Other duties as required.

Skills and Experience

  • Ability to perform work for a minimum of eight hours.
  • Ability to walk, hear, see and have full use of both hands.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. from floor to waist and waist to floor.
  • These physical requirements are generalities and work may occasionally exceed the specified levels.
