Job Overview

The Team Lead, Sourcing Center of Excellence is responsible for leading process transformation, change management, and technology initiatives within the Enterprise Procurement organization. This role aims to enhance visibility and efficient use of financial and required data to drive significant cost savings and efficiencies. The position also involves providing training, sharing best practices, developing sourcing analytics tools, and driving analytics to convert unrealized savings opportunities into actual savings.

A Day In The Life

  • Lead initiatives to enhance the Procurement organization's visibility and efficiency in using financial and required data.
  • Provide training for procurement personnel on internal policies, procedures, and applicable external laws and regulations.
  • Maintain a library of training materials and ensure content is up to date and compelling.
  • Recommend new training programs and create new content as needed.
  • Conduct regular assessments of team capabilities to identify and prioritize gaps.
  • Maintain internal training records and database (e.g. trainee lists, schedules, attendance sheets)
  • Prepare and disseminate supporting materials.
  • Submit reports on training activities and results, recommending improvements or new programs.
  • Produce analytics from Sourcing COE Sprints to identify cost modeling and input monitoring sprints with savings opportunities.
  • Assist Commodity Managers throughout the Cost Sprint process.
  • Conduct effective analysis, reporting, and communication with internal stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain a methodology for commodity Strategic Resource Allocation Planning.
  • Establish and uphold category savings objectives and Annual Operating Plan (AOP) strategies.
  • Support the preparation of Weekly World Class Procurement reports and present data when required.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline (data analytics, supply chain management, business administration or equivalent experience combined with education)
  • 5+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, business analytics or a related role.
