Position Overview

This position will be located at 150 Burndy Rd in the Industrial Park of Littleton, New Hampshire.  The selected candidate will serve as Manufacturing Engineer of our Tooling department to conduct detailed studies and analysis to optimize manufacturing processes, estimate costs for new machines and manage projects designed to improve and increase production.

Duties and Responsibilities

Some duties you will perform (other duties may be assigned):

  • Provide floor support to the manufacturing floor, i.e, dispositions of rejects, preparation of method deviations, analysis of process problems related to material/methods/machines, etc.
  • Analyze, suggest and implement continuous process improvements to improve quality and reduce cost.
  • Work with Application Engineering and Product Design to develop processes for tooling and new products.
  • Guide and support management team and hourly employees.
  • Develop and optimize CNC programs using G-Code programming and solid model CAM packages.
  • Write work instructions.
  • Partner with Quality, Design, Marketing, etc. to determine the disposition of non-conforming product and material.

Education and Experience

Bachelors Degree (BA or BS) in Engineering plus 1-2 years related experience and/or training.
