Job Overview

Responsible for the growth and business development of PCORE Electric and Electro Composites product line(s) including new product development, ensuring pricing competitiveness and margin expansion. Responsible for the P&L, marketing, engineering, operations, quality assurance and control, safety and purchasing functions within the businesses plus working with the appropriate functional entities within Hubbell in the execution of those responsibilities. This position reports to the VP/GM and is located in LeRoy, NY.

A Day In The Life

  • Develop and implement a business strategy ensuring long-term profitable growth
  • Direct and participate in the business planning process for future development and growth of the business
  • Define multiyear portfolio roadmaps, perform regular product line gap analysis and portfolio reviews
  • Present business plans orally and in writing for general review and approval
  • Effectively manage business P/L to ensure adherence to annual plan
  • Maintain extensive knowledge of market conditions, technology trends and competitor landscape
  • Engage in commercial/legal negotiations and customer facing activities as needed
  • Represent the Company as appropriate in its relationships with major customers, suppliers, competitors, governmental agencies, etc.
  • Utilize engineering resources to deliver new products on time and within budget
  • Plan activities to ensure adherence to budget and operational objectives
  • Assure productivity and cost savings are obtained per established goals
  • Prepare and present capital expenditure budgets for approval
  • Continually seek improved methods with a view to reducing costs, improve service levels, and reduce risk
  • Manage quality assurance systems and programs to meet company product quality objectives
  • Assure a safe working environment for all employees
  • Maintain positive and effective employee relations including leading and motivating employees to achieve

  • Project Management: Develop project plans and lead project team activities.
  • Stellar organizational and time management skills; ability to multi-task and to meet competing goals
  • 5-10 years of experience that demonstrates strong business acumen and leadership skills
  • 5+ years of supervisory/management experience
  • BS degree in Engineering, Business or equivalent degree with significant work experience
  • MBA, preferred

**Compensation will be based on experience and qualifications and will be discussed during the interview process. The salary range for this role is $142,900-$178,400 per year. This position offers a competitive salary and benefits package.
