Job Overview

The Marketing Coordinator will be in charge of coordinating all marketing campaigns, initiatives and activities to promote Hubbell’s Bushing Business Unit brands, consisting of PCORE Electric, Meramec, Electro Composites and Reuel. This position will be based at our PCORE facility in LeRoy, NY and report to the Sr. Product Manager for PCORE, working closely with all business functions (Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales, Customer Service) to achieve goals related to the promotion of the Bushing BU.

A Day In The Life

  • Confers with internal BU personnel to understand various marketing project requirements, objectives, and/or presentation concepts and then work closely with the BU and Hubbell Enterprise Marketing (HEM) to coordinate project outline & timeline
  • Directs creative & works closely with HEM as the Business Unit’s liaison on projects run through HEM in order to ensure high quality and on time completion of projects. Projects include but are not limited to:
    • Sales Collateral
    • Sales Presentations
    • Catalogs
    • Tradeshow Pieces
    • Social Media Posts
    • Promotional Items
    • Advertising pieces
    • Marketing Communication
  • Coordinates website & e-commerce revisions through Hubbell team, including imagery & product information updates; work with the Hubbell team to optimize website for search and to develop optimal user experience
  • Responsible for BU Tradeshow and Event management – including pre-show logistics and onsite management of events
  • Conducts research related to competitive landscape, market trends, new products & customer behavior
  • Participates in BU, corporate, sales and industry events/meetings as needed
  • Manages the design, ordering & inventory of branded merchandise for event giveaways & employee appreciation items
  • Takes an active role on PCORE’s Employee Engagement Committee
  • Some travel is required for tradeshows to BU facilities as needed to meet with team members
  • Willingness to stay current on marketing technologies and ways to implement into our business as needed

What will help you thrive in this role?

Skills and Experience

  • 3-5 years of experience in related Marketing Communications roles.  Technical marketing is a plus
  • Exceptional writing, grammatical and editing skills
  • Tradeshow management
  • The ability to work without supervision in delivering high quality work and capable of effectively collaborating with global, cross-functional teams as needed
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively
  • Strong listening, time management, interpersonal, and communications skills
  • Self-motivated
  • Solid knowledge of the Microsoft suite of products including MS Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
  • Experience with Sharepoint and Microsoft Teams is a plus
  • Graphic design skills are a plus
     

Education:  

  • Associates Degree in Communications, Business, Marketing or other relevant field of study
     

Compensation will be based on experience and qualifications and will be discussed during the interview process. The salary range for this role is $53,800-$67,300 per year. This position offers a competitive salary and benefits package.
