Division Overview
Hubbell Power Systems (HPS) engages in the design and manufacture of a wide variety of products used by utilities. Today, HPS is deeply engaged in product solutions for OSP Communication utility purposes, and has been actively growing that segment of the business. HPS roots have historically been in high voltage transmission, distribution, substation, underground products used by electric utilities. HPS products are also used in the civil construction, transportation, gas and water industries.

Duties and Responsibilities

Compensation & Benefits

  • $500 Sign-On Bonus + Paid Training
  • Hourly, Bi-Weekly Pay
  • Paid holidays, PTO, referral bonuses, and benefit eligibility, including medical, dental, vision, and 401k matching.

Primary Functions:

  • Schedule customer appointments for meter exchanges via outbound phone calls.
  • Provide inbound response on a standby basis to schedule appointments and/or answer customer questions and/or concerns.
     

Skills and Experience

Required:

  • 2-3 years of customer service/call center experience OR work-from-home experience with at least 1 year of customer service experience.
  • Fluent in English.
  • PC experience including basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows 8 or above.
  • Must be available to work a flexible schedule between 7 AM-11 PM weekly and 8 AM-8PM Saturdays.
  • Access to a telephone (landline preferred) and ability to work remotely without distraction.
  • Detail oriented with good verbal, listening, phone and data entry skills.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism in all situations.
  • Ability to multi-task, work under time constraints and meet deadlines.

Physical Demand:

  • Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time while talking on the phone.
