Position Overview

The Sr. Strategic Account Manager is responsible for increasing our share with key strategic partners.  This role is not only responsible for setting and executing the sales strategy but will share P&L responsibility and drive our investment decisions as it relates to these customers.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Achieve revenue and operating profit.
  • Develops and implements sales plans.
  • Calls on/ develops key relationships to increase sales and improve margin.
  • Understands completely the strategic account’s business and the critical measures that drive the account.
  • Collaborates with the customer to acquire strategic information critical to their business.
  • Works with all levels of the customer’s organization.
  • Drive business outcomes at all levels.
  • Ensures action and responsiveness to the customer. 
  • Mobilizes and leads the organization to respond to customer needs.
  • Facilitates the organization’s involvement with the customer.
  • Includes other departments where their expertise can benefit the customer.
  • Monitors performance and consistently communicates to appropriate Business Leaders.
  • Orchestrates the organization’s resources to maximize sales opportunities.

  • Demonstrated strong analytical ability.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Must be flexible to maximize business opportunities as they arise.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to analyze market conditions and competition and develop strategic responses to opportunities.
  • Strong understanding of Marketing, Finance, and Operations.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment essential.
  • Must be able to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Technically strong in all Microsoft applications with an emphasis on Excel.
  • Progressive career path with a proven track record of success.
  • Ability to travel 60% - 70% of the time.


Bachelors Degree in Business or Other
