Job Overview
The role of the IT Senior Systems Analyst, Production Planning is to set the direction and support the planning and manufacturing solutions associated with SAP implementations. This includes making sure the correct manufacturing solutions are implemented (SAP MRP, PP, MES, etc.) and the Hubbell standards for configuration and processes are met for each location within the scope of the implementation project. In this role, the successful candidate will work with their IT peers, the Hubbell Global Logistics team, and chosen implementation partner to ensure the correct solution is implemented successfully and according to Hubbell standards.
A Day In The Life
This role will report directly to the Sr Manager, IT SAP Implementations. Job duties:
• Assess and document the requirements of each in-scope manufacturing location
• Collaborate with IT peers, the Global Operations Lead, and implementation partner to determine the correct manufacturing solution
• Document technical specifications associated with the chosen solutions
• Identify hardware requirements (RF, Printers, etc.) for each in-scope plant
• Communicate standards and specifications associated with selected solutions to the implementation partner
• Manage the work associated with the configuration and hardware procurement
• Ensure set standards and specifications are being met by holding frequent configuration review meetings and supporting associated toll gates
• Ensure all aspects of Hubbell’s SDLC and controls are being followed
• Assist with on-site testing, training, cutover, and hyper care support
• Own project closure and associated activities for the manufacturing space
• Prepare all manufacturing related documentation required for internal and external audits
What will help you thrive in this role?
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience with SAP implementations, specifically in the planning & manufacturing functions. Experience should include extensive use of SAP MRP and Production Planning modules as well as experience utilizing and implementing MES systems. Experience implementing and utilizing SAP Fiori with these modules a plus. Background should include requirements gathering, solutioning, configuration, training, and supporting these solutions. Should have a background of successfully working with 3rd party vendors in a project environment.

Education
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college
Working Hours
• Must be able to work U.S. EST working hours with occasional evening and weekend work
Travel Requirements
• Must be able to travel within the U.S. and internationally up to 50%
