Position Overview

Contribute toward the efficient operation plant wide, by performing various tasks for the departments, utilizing a good knowledge of maintenance, electrical, and building knowledge, while complying with current ISO requirements, all safety requirements, and good housekeeping standards.

 

<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Maintain all equipment at CMCA following the Preventive Maintenance Program.

<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Work with department supervisors to ensure all areas are productive and safe.

<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Maintain good housekeeping

<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Maintain buildings

<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Assist supervisor with directed duties.

<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Perform other duties as directed by supervisor.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Conducting routine inspections of premises and equipment.

<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Performing preventive maintenance.

<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Performing repairs and maintenance for machines, production equipment and facility.

<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Diagnosing mechanical issues and correcting them.

<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Diagnosing electrical/electronic issues and correcting them.

Skills and Experience

<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Knowledge and experience with the following:

<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Industrial Electrical systems – 480V systems, sizing wire for specific applications, specifying proper equipment i.e. transformers, breakers, disconnects, etc.

<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Industrial Electronics systems – PLC, HMI, Controllers, Safety devices, etc.

<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Ability to read and interpret electrical drawing and schematics.

<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Industrial Hydraulic systems – Pumps, valves, motors, cylinders, actuators, etc.

<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Ability to read and interpret hydraulic drawing and schematics.

<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Industrial Pneumatic Systems – Compressors, dryers, drivers, motors, cylinders, actuators, etc.

<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Ability to read and interpret pneumatic drawing and schematics.

<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Industrial mechanical systems – Motors, pumps, gearboxes, linkages, belts, gears, etc.

<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Ability to read and interpret machine/part drawings.

<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Ability to use maintenance/shop equipment – Mill and lathe, drill press, welding equipment, grinders, flame cutting equipment, handle held power tools, etc.
