Job Overview

This position includes operating a winding machine or using hand application, to apply copper winding and layer insulation to the cores according to the production specification sheets.  Must be able to inspect and verify proper material usage and dimension requirements. 

A Day In The Life

  • Assure that all products meet the highest standard of quality
  • Follow all safety rules and ISO requirements
  • Must be able to set up winding machine, understand settings & functions, and ensure machine is running properly to avoid unnecessary down time
  • Know the difference and be able to identify magnet wire types as well as imperfections and crossed wires
  • Ensure that work practices are in the guidelines of OSHA standards
  • Must have an understanding of measurements using standard and metric measuring devices
  • Have the ability to operate a hoist properly and safely
