As an integral member of the Talent Acquisition team, the Talent Acquisition Specialist is crucial in supporting our high-volume manufacturing operations by sourcing, recruiting, and hiring top-tier talent for hourly positions. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manufacturing Recruiter to join our TA team.
A Day In The Life
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract, screen, and recruit high-volume hourly positions in the manufacturing sector.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand specific needs and requirements of each role and develop precise job descriptions and specifications accordingly.
- Utilize various sourcing methods including online job boards, social media platforms, networking events, and employee referrals to generate a robust candidate pipeline.
- Conduct initial screening of resumes, perform interviews, and coordinate in-person interviews to assess candidates' qualifications and fit.
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from job postings, screening and interviewing, to making job offers and moving candidates through to hire.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the labor market and industry trends to ensure competitive hiring practices.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations concerning employment.
- Provide a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, maintaining timely communication and feedback.
- Work closely with HR and onboarding teams to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
- Track and report key recruitment metrics to assess effectiveness and efficiency of recruitment strategies.

- A college degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in high-volume recruitment, specifically in manufacturing or related industrial sectors.
- Strong understanding of the electric utility market and its workforce requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with various stakeholders.
- Proficient in using HRIS and recruitment software, as well as social media and professional networks for recruitment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple positions and meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
