Job Overview
Apply electronic theory, principles of electrical circuits, electrical testing procedures, engineering, mathematics, and related procedures to test, troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate electronic systems and circuit boards to the component level. May work with sales and design engineering to resolve technical problems. May set up standard test apparatus and run environmental tests. Analyzes and interprets test data. Adjusts, calibrates, aligns, and may modify circuitry and components. May write technical reports and test procedures. Communicates with internal and external customers. Reports to Production Supervisor.
A Day In The Life
- Confirms correct operation of electronic systems and circuit boards.
- Performs fault isolation function and repair items once fault is isolated, to the component level.
- Drafts and maintains test procedures and test documentation as required.
- Follows approved test procedures and ensures correct equipment operation for a full range of self-manufactured and purchased product.
- Participates in Source Inspections.
- Provides customer service technical assistance as required.
- May perform other tasks as assigned by Supervision.
- Occasional overtime will be required.

- BSEE or BSCET or equivalent work experience required.
- Must have strong skill set in digital and analog technology.
- Must be an independent worker with good communication and organization skills.
- Five years testing of digital and analog electronics equipment in a production environment helpful.
- Ethernet level networking experience a plus.
