Job Overview

Reporting directly to the Process Engineering Leader, the Process Ing. is responsible for ensuring that compliance production standards to ensure compliance with area metrics (efficiency, productivity, OTD) It is also the facilitator to produce the tools, work instructions and everything that production requires realization of the product within the required specifications. It is also responsible for giving the right follow-up to the introduction of new products in the area that supports it.

A Day In The Life

* Set goals for group leaders and verify that production standards are met.

* Interpretation of specifications (plans, BOM). Elaboration of process sheets and visual aids

* Monitoring compliance with production standards and if necessary to question why the non-compliance

* Listen to operational personnel and attend to needs in the interpretation of process sheets, work instructions, etc.

* Propose improvements to processes in order to optimize the company's resources

* Ensure the proper functioning and proper use of tools and equipment in your area.

* Meet ISO 9001 requirements

* Participate in kaizen events.

* Meet company metrics

* Monitor industrial safety in your department

* Participate in the company's activities

* Selection and evaluation of tools and working methods.

* Perform team capacity studies and process mappings to validate "routings"

* Generate temporary changes (TMD) when there is a deviation to some process.

* Determine the capacity of each cell to ensure the productivity of the department.

* Determine the need for overtime on production lines.

* Pilot runs for tooling, route and process validation.

* Development of suppliers that are required for the improvement of some process.

* Perform ergonomics and safety improvements on production lines.

* Contact USA Engineering.

* Monitor efficiency and break daily barriers for compliance.

* Respect and comply with the Internal Labour and Safety Regulations

* Deliver production standards to the supervisor or area leader.
