Position Overview

Provide clerical assistance to the Warehouse.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all Littleton facility warehouse records such as shipping and receiving records, log books, miscellaneous reports, paperwork and forms.
  • Liaison between other operations within the company including Production Control, Plant Management, Customer Service, etc. in making last minute shipment changes or expediting flow of material into or out of the warehouse.
  • Assists Warehouse Mananger with corrdination of daily activities associated with warehouse oeprations.
  • Based on documentation of incoming shipments, logs all delivered materials, and verifies shipments to purchase orders.
  • Maintains assigned inventory control systems; posts both incoming andoutgoing items to other acilities; and performs other miscellaneous clerical duties as needed.
  • Maintains assigned receiving and warehouse records by posting, adding, subtracting, tallying, totalling and/or summarizing various records and reports.
  • Maintains warehouse stock status reorts and other assined files as necessary.
  • Processes incoming plant material requisitions for items and components released to production departments.  Releases same according to department supervisor instructions and plant routines.
  • Types/inputs bills of lading.
  • Records shipments made to customers including shop copies.
  • Answers telephone, conveys messages and runs errands.
  • Photocopies documents as needed.
