Job Overview

Responsible for materials preparation; perform start-up procedure, operate, and shut down calibration panels and other equipment; perform in-process quality check to ensure that all raw materials and sub-assemblies used in production, and resulting finished products conform to the Workmanship Standards and customer specifications; record the necessary production data.

A Day In The Life

Prepare materials needed in the operation. Place materials needed at its appropriate location.

Clean workplace before and after the operation. Start-up and/or shutdown the machine/equipment properly according to individual instruction. Perform the required operations on assigned tasks following the Work Instruction and Workmanship Standard. Ensure compliance with Company EHS policies; use appropriate PPE for assigned task. Perform visual inspection throughout the process and check if raw materials, sub- assemblies, and final products conform to the Total Quality Characteristics and Workmanship Standard. Ensure all non-conforming materials, sub-assemblies, and/or products are properly segregated, tagged, and recorded. Immediately report to the Maintenance Support Staff and/or Manufacturing Manager if materials and/or production rejects appear unusually high. Initiate and issue properly accomplished work order request for equipment repair or maintenance if deemed necessary.

Log in all information required for the Daily Production Report. Monitor performance against KPIs set for Manufacturing operations. Perform any other task that may be assigned to support departmental goals and objectives.

Know and follow established job specific and facility-wide health and safety procedures and rules. Maintain housekeeping in work area. Maintain health and safety equipment in good working order. Actively participate in health and safety trainings and demonstrate competency based on training received. Keep other employees aware of health and safety practices and activities by actively observing fellow employee work practices and incorporating safety in daily routines. Participate actively in providing suggestions for health, safety program improvement using Concern Reporting modules of Gensuite. Know and implement regulatory compliance requirements in work area.
