Position Overview

The Marketing Manager will manage all aspects of marketing related to Hubbell’s GAI-Tronics’ global operations, including; Marketing Communications, Promotions, Social Media, Trade Exhibitions and Conferences. 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create a comprehensive product promotion plan to support future growth strategy throughout all GAI-Tronics divisions and communicate the strategic and business plans. 
  • Direct and coordinate marketing budget and resources to promote all product lines. 
  • Create and direct overall product strategies. 
  • Create a sales training process with product promotion collateral.
  • Launch and promote new products.
  • Work closely with all Product Managers to coordinate the product portfolios, promotion plans, and distribution channels.
  • Direct and develop Product Plans in response to customer needs.
  • Communicate customer needs and product enhancements to the Product Managers via market research and Voice-of-the-Customer feedback.
  • Work with the sales organization to keep current on the market changes and the customers' requirements.
  • Coordinate proposed changes to the product lines (enhancements, obsolescence, etc.)
  • Work with sales management to develop an effective sales strategy for the product line and enable attainment of the most profitable market share levels.
  • Support sales team with product and application information, solutions brochures and all other forms of media collateral.
  • Direct and coordinate Market Research and establish policies for pricing strategies and pricing policies for product lines, based on analysis of costs, market acceptance, gross margin, and product line contribution, as well as new products/product packaging changes.
  • Perform detailed analysis of product offerings as compared to competition.
  • Define and direct marketing communications objectives for the company.
  • Approve source data for all communications pieces pertaining to the product line.
  • Approve and direct marketing programs (direct mail, product promotions, advertising, trade shows, etc.) that will actively promote the product and support the efforts of the sales organization.
  • Manage and mentor a team of up to 4; including remote employees.

Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or other relevant discipline
  • 5+ years in a similar Marketing role required.
  • Minimum of 2 years supervisory/leadership experience.
  • Technical product marketing and sales experience helpful
  • Must be able to travel up to 25% of the time, including overnight and international travel to attend trace shows/meetings.
