Position Overview


This Project Manager (Real Estate & Security) position is the focal point for Corporate Real Estate management. It is responsible for management, oversite, and tracking owned and leased properties within the company portfolio. This position processes and abstracts leases and lease amendments to assure accurate documentation and maintains an accurate real estate database. This position also will liaise with 3rd party contractors to develop site security policies and procedures and manage site security improvements. The major elements of this role are organization, building relationships, communication, RE reporting, and security project management.

Duties and Responsibilities


  • Database Management, including entering leases, amendments and other critical documents in the Lease Management Software (Sequentra). Documentation will include:
    • File amendments, reconciliations, and documents as needed; any fully executed agreements or changes to management, landlord, rent etc. will be uploaded to the database and physically filed.
    • Changes to the property contacts, property management and ownership changes.
    • Tracking of critical dates and responsibilities.
  • Create quarterly Real Estate presentations; lead Real Estate calls with Division Management to provide summary oversite and tracking of all real estate properties within the company portfolio.
  • Update and forecast external 10-k property listing.
  • Lead and manage site security improvement projects.
  • Responsible for reviewing contract documents and understanding business terms, service level exhibits, pricing and statements of work from vendors.

Skills and Experience


  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related field of study from an accredited college or university.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in business or industry  (lease administration, property management or real estate accounting preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of commercial real estate documents and the leasing process.
  • High level of attention to detail for reliable accuracy.
  • Excellent communication, project management and relationship building skills.
  • Proficiency in PC based software including MS Excel, Outlook, Word, Sequentra or Lease CRM.
  • Strong interpersonal skills & ability to engage and communicate with internal & external stakeholders.
  • High motivation and results-oriented work ethic.
  • Ability to take on multiple tasks as needed to support the Real Estate, EHS, Remediation and Facilities Department.
  • Willingness to travel as needed (less than 25%).
