Duties and Responsibilities


  • Set up and maintain standards through accepted Electrical / Industrial Engineering techniques.
  • Prepare plant, department, and work cell layouts to maximize space utilization, material flow and safety.
  • Define, write, install and review necessary manufacturing procedures. Provide guidelines for training personnel in their procedures and participate in training.
  • Prepare, implement and follow-up on line balances and methods improvements to insure effective cost reductions in labor and material
  • Perform make/buy analysis for components as appropriate.
  • Perform economic and feasibility studies for new processes, equipment systems, etc.
  • Correct Bills of Materials/Routers/Drawings when necessary.
  • Create visual aids for operators use during production.
  • Develop testing equipment and processes.
  • Provide engineering assistance on the shop floor as requested.
  • Lead Pilot runs on new products.
  • Perform first piece inspections on new parts.
  • Support engineering requests from HLI.
  • Process and originate Engineering Changes.
  • Lead and or support Kaizen Events and R3 Safety Events.
  • Provide project leadership and guidance on new equipment or processes.
  • Review alternative product materials and assembly construction.
  • Process ETO orders for SAP – routers, BOM, material records, etc.
  • Provide Electrical Technical support for the assembly lines.

Skills and Experience


  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical or Industrial Engineering.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience.
  • Proficiency in CAD.
  • Proficiency in SAP.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
