Position Overview

The customer service representative will provide superior customer service to OEM customers assigned as well as distribution customers for Acme transformers brand.  Position will build solid working relationship with both OEM and distribution customers and sales reps to provide info on orders to include pricing, ship date, tracking, etc. They will also work closely with the sales and produciton team as well as external sales reps to support customers needs.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide support to OEM cusotmer for quotations, orders, and other product/order related questions.
  • Conduct weekly meetings with customers to discuss on time delivery, shipping status, quality issues, and product revision requests.
  • Process orders into system and keep detailed records for each customer.
  • Attend sales and operation meetings to determine how to improve delivery time.
  • Work with produciton scheduling per customer to required ship dates.
  • Support and consult with different warehouses to ship and expedite shipments.
  • Review orders per customer daily to drop orders and inquire about late orders.
  • Work closely with product manger in supporting revisions for product.
  • Create forecast for key customers and provide info to purchasing/production to process.
  • Communicate with purchasing to assure drop ship orders are processed and work with vendor to expedite when needed.
  • Support sales and brand managers in assuring stocking levels and safety stock.

Skills and Experience

  • 5-7 years of customer service experience
  • 2 - 3 years of SAP experience required.
  • Proven account management or other relevant experience desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple accounts at a time while paying strict attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize amount competing tasks.
  • Excellent time management skills .
  • Expert at Microsoft Office Suite - especially Excel.
  • The ability to work with ittle to no supervision in delivering high quality work and capable of collaboratin gwith cross-functional teams as needed.
