Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Enterprise Architect with an excellent background in infrastructure, cloud technologies, and strategy. As an Enterprise Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing the overall structure and framework of our organization's technology systems, with a focus on infrastructure, cloud solutions, and strategic planning. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to align business objectives with technology solutions, ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our enterprise architecture.

A Day In The Life

  • Develop and maintain the enterprise architecture strategy, roadmap, and standards, in alignment with the organization's business goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with business leaders, stakeholders, and IT teams to understand current and future technology needs and translate them into architectural requirements.
  • Design and document the overall structure of the organization's technology systems, including hardware, software, networks, and databases.
  • Evaluate and recommend technology solutions, ensuring they meet the organization's architectural standards, security requirements, and scalability needs.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses to assess the potential impact of proposed technology solutions on the organization.
  • Identify and address architectural risks and issues, providing recommendations and solutions to mitigate them.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure the successful implementation of technology solutions, providing guidance and support throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in enterprise architecture, and make recommendations for their adoption within the organization.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the enterprise architecture team.
     

What will help you thrive in this role?

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience as an Enterprise Architect or in a similar role.
  • Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect with a strong background in infrastructure, cloud technologies, and strategic planning.
  • Extensive experience in designing and documenting enterprise-level technology systems.
  • Strong understanding of infrastructure technologies, including servers, networks, storage, and virtualization.
  • Expertise in cloud technologies, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, including infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS), and software as a service (SaaS).
  • Ability to develop and execute strategic technology plans, aligning them with business objectives.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
