Job Overview

Reporting to the Regional Vice President, Canada this position drives and develops the Utility business through end user accounts and authorized distributors in the Ontario marketplace.  The Territory Manager is responsible for driving Hubbell Utility Solutions, Transmission & Distribution Infrastructure market share through end user development, sales planning, sales objective execution, product knowledge, specification advances and engagement with existing and high potential customers

A Day In The Life

Minimum of 3 days of sales calls per week

What will help you thrive in this role?

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university / electrical technology experience.
  • Minimum four years progressively responsible related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Familiarity with the Canadian market.
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Proficient presentation skills
  • Valid Driver’s license required
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills.  For Eastern Region English and French skills required.
  • Must have strong Microsoft Office, Salesforce.com, e-mail and other PC application skills
  • Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Gathers and analyzes information skillfully; Develops alternative solutions.
  • Works well in group problem solving situations
