Job Overview

As a Salesforce.com Technical Lead, you will lead the IT strategy and delivery of the Salesforce.com platforms across the enterprise (Sales & Service Clouds). In this role, you will work closely with various partners across IT, business functions, and business units to develop the overall salesforce.com technical roadmap, provide high level solution designs, and ensure successful project execution. Success criteria for this role is being able to translate business needs into technical requirements, while also driving the technology roadmap from an IT stability and scalability perspective.

A Day In The Life

  • Lead custom development on the Salesforce.com platform
  • Develop applications in salesforce using out-of-the-box functionalities and custom solutions 
  • Design solutions that cross multiple business areas and across multiple instances of Salesforce
  • Provide proactive strategy as it relates to Hubbell’s M&A programs
  • Player/Coach role, lead developers and also hands on as needed
  • Provide SFDC technical guidance to internal and external teams
  • Responsible for technical design/development, document, configuration, maintenance, administration, and integration of the Salesforce platform (and vendors supporting)
  • Have oversight & accountability of End to End implementation with the Salesforce platform
  • Have deep design and architectural understanding of implementing Salesforce for Sales Enablement and Customer Service
  • Recommend solutions and approaches for meeting business requirements and improving user experience & adoption
  • Perform code reviews and guide the teammates with the best practices
  • Provide technical expertise for production support teams (internal/external) and AMS providers as relevant
  • Define, communicate, and manage change in alignment with the business priorities
  • Knowledge in Copado, Jenkin, or any other CI/CD tool 
     

What will help you thrive in this role?

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of Salesforce Architecture Tech Lead/Senior Developer experience
  • 5+ years of experience leading at least 1 Salesforce Technical Team
  • 4+ years of experience participating in grooming, estimating, solutioning, and building user stories in product centric/agile planning tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, etc.)
  • Understanding and experience with Salesforce architecture and API.
  • Experience using GitHub, Bit Bucket or other version control software.
  • Must have strong experience in integration - implementation experience with Rest API and SOAP API and integrating with other applications/platforms
  • Strong business analysis and functional experience, with a continuous improvement mindset, including requirements gathering, creating solutions, and/or deploying solutions to end-users.
  • Well versed with technical documentation like HLD, LLD, Process diagrams, UML etc.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams.
  • Good communicator with superb verbal and written skills
  • Must have good inter-personal skills and be able to mentor & motivate team members (internal & external, across locations, in remote and/or in person environments
  • Self-starter with proven ability to successfully kick-start new initiatives and to drive complex issues through analysis and resolution

Certifications: 

  • Any of the current Salesforce certifications - Platform Developer I or II, App Builder, Architecture, Sales/Service Cloud/Marketing Cloud/CPQ etc. multiple certifications highly preferred
