Job Overview

The Channel Analyst will be supporting and analyzing the 3rd party channel commercial activities for the N. American Harsh and Heavy Industrial business. The aim of the position is to support the N. American Channel Manager in rep management, planning, analyses of performance, and execution of sales plan for the channel. The Channel Analyst will execute and maintain both new and existing reporting, analysis and insights from the data to assist allowing the business to exceed its operational objectives.

 

*Note - The role can be located in Archdale, NC or Atlanta, GA. This role is a full-time in office or hybrid, as determined in the interview process* 

 

A Day In The Life

  • Conducting research and analyses 
  • Assessing market trends and competitors
  • Building and maintaining reliable metrics/dashboards 
  • Presenting findings, projections 
  • Planning, implementing, and managing proposed recommendations and projects
  • Monitoring and reporting on the progress made on activities
  • Supporting management decision-making processes with data and insights
  • Communicate effectively with all members of the HHI Sales
  • Assist in driving a culture of data driven insights and processes
     

What will help you thrive in this role?


•    Bachelors Degree required, preferable in data science, analytics, or related field 
•    2-4 years in financial or other data analysis related work 
•    Demonstrates excellent commercial acumen, creativity, and an ability to plan and implement highly effective, revenue generating commercial strategies
•    Outstanding research, problem solving and analytical abilities. Able to manipulate and interpret data, to provide meaningful and useful analysis for decision making purposes
•    Excellent understanding of business operations and procedures
•    Prior experience using data and analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
•    Specific experience in selection and implementation of data management platforms (e.g., CRM)
•    A passion for the combination of marketing and analytics
•    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
•    Excellent attention to detail with the ability to deliver a clear and accurate presentation of findings
•    Able to work under pressure, efficiently manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
•    Customer focused, with effective relationship management skills and able to achieve sales objectives
•    Develop product and market knowledge to an advanced level
•    Ability to prioritize, demonstrating first class organization, planning and time management skills
•    Have a proven track record of identifying the capability needs of an organization and of developing individuals and teams to match those requirements
